Overland Park, KS, August 6, 2024 – PatientLock, headquartered in Overland Park, KS, announced it has appointed Jesse Ehlert to its Advisory Board. PatientLock is the brainchild of former EMR-industry executives and enterprise-grade cybersecurity talent. PatientLock offers a broad range of cybersecurity technologies and advisory services to healthcare organizations and law firms handling ePHI (DBA JurisLock for law firms). Ehlert will advise PatientLock’s executive team as the company continues its rapid growth and innovative cybersecurity software development.
Beginning his career at Cerner (now Oracle Health) as a Software Engineer, Ehlert is currently the Senior Director of Engineering for K-Care, a mission-driven healthcare technology company providing a suite of innovative software solutions (EHR, case management, and analytics) designed for behavioral health and human services organizations. Prior to K-Care, Ehlert was Senior VP of Product and Technology at Attane, and VP of Engineering at FanThreeSixty.
“I’m thrilled to be involved with PatientLock. Cyber criminals continue to wreak havoc on the healthcare community and law firms, and being part of the solution is incredibly gratifying. Unlike most of its competitors, PatientLock and JurisLock are uniquely positioned with their ability to serve any size or type of healthcare organization or law firm,” Jesse shared.
“Jesse’s experience and level of strategic advisement he brings to the table is unmatched in our space. One would be hard-pressed to find a world-class software engineer who possesses such a deep understanding of information security and data governance, and particularly one with Jesse’s resume,” said Jim Ford, PatientLock CEO.
Ehlert graduated from Missouri State University with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. He lives in the Kansas City metro with his wife and children.
